Conductive Education Therapy for children with physical disabilities and movement disorders

Description

Rainbow Hub promotes independence and achievement for both children and young people, through the philosophy and practice of Conductive Education Therapy.  We offer weekly Conductive Education sessions to children and young people aged 0 - 25 years who have physical disabilities or movement disorders as a result of a neurological condition or brain injury.

This is a holistic conductive educational system using repetitive physical activities incorporating rhythm, song and phrases to help young people with neurological conditions and brain injuries carry out simple movements.

The conditions include Cerebral Palsy, Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE), Williams Syndrome, Moebius Syndrome, Downs Syndrome during the early years and acquired brain injury. Conductive learning can also benefit individuals who do not have an official diagnosis and those with global developmental delay, genetic conditions and other physical disabilities.

After your initial enquiry we will arrange a formal assessment of your child which will give you the opportunity to see our facilities and ask any questions you may have.
